The value of a field assignment is not only about time on site. It also depends on the professional profile required, the evidence package, location, travel effort, timing and the seriousness of the client decision.
Assignment scope
All asignments are different. A short exterior check is different from a permitted factory visit, production milestone check or asset documentation task. We adjust the fee based on the scope.
Professional expertise
Engineering, quality, logistics, manufacturing or specialist industry knowledge can make a task more valuable.
Location and travel
City, travel distance, route complexity, parking, local transport and site accessibility – all affect the assignment fee.
Evidence depth
If we ask for more photos, video where permitted, checklist detail, observations, limitations and structured notes – these all increase workload, but also increases the fee that you will be offered.
Urgency and timing
Short-notice requests, strict deadlines, weekend constraints or time-sensitive assignments affects the earnings of our inspectors.
Repeat reliability
Inspectors who submit clear, complete and reliable work may be considered for more suitable assignments over time and the fee is adjusted accordingly for a better quality of performed assignments.

Does Verihaus guarantee a certain number of assignments?
No. Assignment availability depends on client demand, location, expertise match, timing and suitability. Applying to the network does not guarantee regular work or a fixed income.
Will I know the fee before I accept?
Yes. We will provide you with a detailed scope, expected evidence, timing and proposed fee before you decide whether to accept it.
Can my earnings be higher than mentioned in the scope?
It depends. Sometimes we have optional subtask within the main scope that may allow you to earn more if thoese are accomplished. However those may require stronger expertise, more responsibility, deeper evidence, travel effort or more detailed reporting. The fee is still confirmed per assignment.
Can I decline an assignment?
Yes. You should only accept assignments that fit your location, schedule, expertise, safety comfort and practical availability.
When is payment processed?
Payment is processed after the completed assignment package is submitted and accepted according to the confirmed assignment terms. Usually the payment arrives within 10 business days after submitting the report
Do I need to be an engineer to earn through Verihaus?
No. Our inspector network consists of inspectors and verifiers with over 50 different specializations – from engineers and pharmacists to scientists, teachers and lawyers. Some tasks require local presence and structured documentation. Others require engineering, quality, logistics, audit, manufacturing or sector-specific experience. Matching depends on the assignment scope.
